WHAT IS MANGUT LELE?
Mangut Lele is a typical menu of the region “Mataraman” (Yogya-Solo) and Semarang-Kendal. As the name implies, the main composition is smoked catfish, flavored mangut (Coconut milk + turmeric + spices).
MBAH MARTO RESTAURANT HISTORY:
An authentic Mangut Lele “Mbah Marto” Restaurant Initially sold in Beringharjo market Yogyakarta. However, over time a lot of customers who buy directly in her trip from house to the market. Often, the cuisine sold out before being sell in the market. Therefore, Mbah Marto decided to no longer sell on the market. She decided to sell “mangut lele” at home or in the kitchen exactly.

You can use Trans Jogja to Giwangan bus station (Terminal bis Giwangan), ticket about IDR4000. Then change bus, from Giwangan bus station to Parangtritis. Then, you have to stop at Kampus ISI, then take a walk to the restaurant. Ask bus operator if you confused.
