Sidoharjo Hidden Waterfall
WHAT IS SIDOHARJO WATERFALL?
This beautiful virgin waterfall is advisable to come early in the morning and not in the rainy season. When the rains come, the water that falls down to be brown. Two-wheel drive motorcycle is more advisable than using a car.
Sidoharjo waterfall has 75 meters height with a slope of 90 degrees will definitely make you stunned. You must look up until stiff if you want to see the peak.
There are no bathing facilities in this place, you should use the trekking shoes because the location of the waterfall about 700 meters or 20 minutes from the parking area with winding roads, narrow and slippery on the last few tracks.
In dry season, some local farmer block the water flow to irrigate their rice farm. This could make you little disappointed cause the water debit so little when it falling.

HOW TO GET TO SIDOHARJO WATERFALL?
There is no direct public transport over there.
Better you rent a car or motorcycle for cheap one. Invite local person as guide (Couchsurfer) for cheap reason.
A car can not access this site. Motorcycle is the best. Today a car can access this place, only the road is too small.
**) It’s hard to find the place for new visitor. You can ask to people that you met in the street. But, you have take off your helmet and turn off the engine. This is the local manner. Otherwise, it’s not polite.
***) There will be other waterfall before Sidoharjo waterfall. It is Siluwok waterfall. Don’t be confused or take a wrong way.
*) Some of way are watery & slippery.
