This pond is the only one spring that can use for snorkeling. Other spring can not use for snorkeling because too small. You can swim and learn diving in this place.
You visiting exotic place and so natural. Fresh water very refreshing.
You also can see fish, sand and rock under the water. Just like in the sea.
The entry ticket are very cheap.

HOW TO GET TO UMBUL PONGGOK SPRING?
There is no direct public transport over there.
Better you rent a car or motorcycle for cheap one. Invite local person as a guide (Couchsurfer) for good reason.
*) It’s hard to find the place for new visitor. You can ask to people that you met in the street. But, you have take off your helmet and turn off the engine. This is the local manner. Otherwise, it’s not polite.

There are some cafe or restaurant.
*) For foreigner i recommend: Don’t drink with ice cube in any restaurant or street food in Indonesia, because indonesian ice cube made from not boiled water. It contain bacteria (E. Coli) that can makes stomach problem or diarrhea. Indonesian intestine become immune (adapted) to this bacteria, but not for expat (american and european especially).
