Hi. im wondering. after i read you infomation, so there is entrance fee to enter parangtritis beach? or i just misunderstanding?

    thanks

    1. kunzyogya Post author

      Hi,

Actually it’s not the entrance fee of Parangtritis beach.
But, it’s government retribution for whole area around and along the Parangtritis beach.
Include ‘Gumuk pasir’ sand dunes, Parangkusumo beach, Parangendog hill, etc.
So, you don’t need to pay the entrance fee of the beaches.
Because you already pay at the first gate.
You only need to pay for the parking fee of your vehicle.

        1. kunzyogya Post author

Yup. IDR 7.5k per pax for Government retribution.
          Maybe around half Dollar USD.
The payment location is before the Parangtritis beach.

Is there horse riding service at the beach? If so, how much would it costs?

Is there any good seafood restaurant around the beach?

    1. kunzyogya Post author

There is horse riding services on the Parangtritis beach.
You can choose the horse with the carriage or without it.
      IDR 100K for the cost.

There are a lot of traditional seafood restaurant on Depok beach,
it located on the west of Parangtritis beach.
The delicious one is belong to “Ibu Tur”.
From the car parking area you walk to the Depok beach,
      then turn to the left.
If you use our transport services,
our driver will call the restaurant and order the menu,
so, you won’t get long queue for the seafood.

    Hi there

I will be touching down at the airport around 12.30pm, check in and then head to the Gumuk Pasir for sandboarding.

Is Gumuk Pasir near to the Parangtritis Beach and/or Parangendog? I might be either taking the horse carriage or the paragliding at the Parangendog.

    What would you suggest?

Is the climb up for the Paragliding take long?

    1. kunzyogya Post author

      Hi,

Gumuk Pasir is near to Parangtritis beach and Parangendog (Paragliding hill).
Those places are near to each other.

I suggest you to do sandboarding first,
then take the horse with carriage for trip along the coast line.
Then watch the sunset at Paragliding hill.

This month seems not possible to do paragliding due to on the west wind blows and the weather.

You can use scooter or car to reach the paragliding hill, no need climbing.

    Hi!

Is it easy to grab a Blue Bird / Gojek at the beach? Am only spending half a day there and wondering if I need to get a private car, or just use taxis.

    Thanks!

    1. kunzyogya Post author

      Hi,

Well, the Parangtritis beach is out of town actually.
You won’t find any taxi or blue bird on the site.
Gojek on Parangtritis beach also will be hard to find it.
But, from Yogyakarta to Parangtritis beach,
it might be easy to hire any taxi or blue bird or Gojek.
The way back could be a problem.
Better you make a deal first with them.
So, they can wait you on the site (beach).
      You’re welcome.
