WHAT IS PAMERAN FOTO KERATON?

The existence of a palace or kingdom in Indonesia archipelago (Nusantara) is a part of the past of Indonesia. Not only in Java island, Palace or Kingdom are also found throughout Indonesia.

Pameran Foto Keraton is a photo exhibition showing Nusantara kingdom in the past time. It’s not only show photo of the King itself, but also the royal family, soldier, servant, etc. Even it show the Dutch governor, soldier and Queen Wilhemina and Prince Hendrik of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The photos on display are photographs contained in the book Nederland Indie and Kejawen magazine published by the Dutch East Indies around 1930.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
There is a cheap public transport to get there. Trans Jogja Bus. Ticket only IDR 4,000. First, you must go to halte bus/bus stop/shelter of Trans Jogja. Then, you must reach to Gramedia halte (halte Gramedia ), and then take a walk to the Bentara Budaya building. Ask to the operator if you still confused.
Operator will glad to give information. :-)

From Adi Sutjipto Airport :
please take Route 1A – Stop in Gramedia shelter/halte.
Then, please take a walk to ‘Bentara Budaya’ building.
From Tugu Railway Station :
No Route available to this place. Just take a walk or use taxi motor.
From Giwangan Bus Station :
please take Route 4B – Stop in Gramedia shelter/halte.
Then, please take a walk to ‘Bentara Budaya’ building.
From Jombor Bus Station :
please take Route 2B – Stop in Gramedia shelter/halte.
Then, please take a walk to ‘Bentara Budaya’ building.

*) Trans Jogja operates from 5:30 am until 9:30 pm.

**) You can take an online scooter taxi such as Grab-bike or Go-jek for easy and reasonable price. But, the driver may not be able speak English and you may say that he/she as crazy driver because you don’t get use with our traffic.
