MALIOBORO COFFEE NIGHT (2 October 2018) – Drink free coffee and Celebrate International Coffee Day

This event will attended by coffee shop, enthusiasts and communities from all over Indonesia.
The second event of Malioboro Coffee Night (MCN).

You are going to taste all variety coffee from Indonesia and some of them are specialty coffee.
The indonesian coffee culture serving coffee without any complicated technique.

CHEAP
The coffee beans price is very cheap if you compare in your country, cause it come from the source of the coffee plantation in Indonesia.
Free 26,200 cup of coffee for visitors.

LIVE MUSIC
There will be live street music and art show to entertain the visitors.

DESCRIPTION:

Malioboro Coffee Night is a new event that planned to be annual event. This festival founded by Nusantara coffee lover community and Yogyakarta government. This festival held to celebrate International coffee day & Yogyakarta city anniversary.

Malioboro Coffee Night will be attended by dozens of coffee shop, enthusiasts and communities from all over the Indonesia.  Coffee shop from local Jogja, Central Java, Bali, West Java, South Sumatra and Jakarta. Also it will introduce the coffee farmer, coffee activist and the coffee industry. This event to educate people about indonesian coffee which is the best and unique coffee. Also to educate indonesian about how to serve healthy coffee. The Malioboro Coffee Night also perform live street music and art show.

*) It was very crowded situation. The queuing very long just to get a cup of coffee.

2 October 2018

*) International coffee day fall on October 1st actually. The Malioboro Coffee Night (MCN) held on October 2nd, not October 1st because they combined with the Yogyakarta anniversary.

HOW TO GET TO THE LOCATION?

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
There is a cheap public transport to get there. Trans Jogja Bus. Ticket only IDR 3,600. First, you must go to halte bus/bus stop of Trans Jogja. Then, you must reach to Malioboro halte (halte Malioboro). Ask to the operator if you still confused. Operator will glad to give information. 🙂

From Adi Sutjipto Airport :
please take Route 1A – Stop in Malioboro shelter (halte Malioboro)
From Tugu Railway Station :
Just take a walk, very close
From Giwangan Bus Station :
please take Route 3B – Stop in Jokteng Wetan halte/shelter
then, please take Route 2B – Stop in Kantor Pos Besar halte/shelter, then take a walk
From Jombor Bus Station :
please take Route 2A – Stop in Malioboro shelter (halte Malioboro)

*) Trans Jogja operates from 5:30 am until 9:30 pm.

**) I recommend you rent a scooter or hire taxi motor online such as Go-jek or Grab bike for comfort and reasonable price.
