DESCRIPTION:
Jogja Fashion Week is an annual event organized by the Indonesian fashion industry DI government Yogyakarta through integrated support trade and tourism. This activity was first initiated by the Governing Body regional Indonesian Fashion Designers Association (BPD APPMI) Yogyakarta in 2006

Jogja Fashion Week “as a gateway to the Indonesian fashion” is the primary vision with the mission of promoting artistic and cultural wealth of the archipelago from Sabang to Merauke to be an inspiration in the fashion world, motivate the fashion community to express their creativity by treating the material in the country in order to compete in the global market , build a business network with industry players national and international fashion, invites all Indonesian people to love local products.

Jogja Fashion Week for fashion designers and other fashion industry players are expected to be a place to interact, work together, exchange knowledge and become one of the efforts to expand the market and to build international image.

Jogja Fashion Week held on 26-30 August 2015 at Jogja Expo Center (JEC). The peak of event is Carnival in Malioboro street as Fashion show on the street. The event combine with Carriage Festival.

26-30 August 2015: Jogja Fashion Week at Jogja Expo Center (JEC).
30 August 2015: Jogja Fashion Carnival at Malioboro street.
30 August 2015: Carriage Festival at Malioboro street.

Jogja Fashion Week at Jogja Expo Center (JEC)
Jogja Fashion Carnival at Malioboro street on 3.00 pm.
Carriage Festival at Malioboro street on 3.00 pm.

Malioboro street (downtown), Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta

HOW TO GET TO THE JEC BUILDING:
There is a cheap public transport to get there. Trans Jogja Bus. Ticket only IDR 4,000. First, you must go to halte bus/bus stop/Shelter of Trans Jogja. Then, you must reach to JEC halte (halte JEC). Ask to the operator if you still confused. Operator will glad to give information. 🙂

From Adi Sutjipto Airpot :
please take Rute 1B – Stop in JEC Shelter
From Tugu Railway Station :
please take Rute 1A – Stop in JEC Shelter
From Giwangan Bus Station :
please take Rute 3A or Rute 3B – Stop in JEC Shelter
From Jombor Bus Station :
please take Rute 2A – Stop in Malioboro Shelter, then please take Rute 1A – Stop in JEC Shelter

HOW GET TO THE MALIOBORO STREET:
There is a cheap public transport to get there. Trans Jogja Bus. Ticket only IDR 4,000. First, you must go to halte bus/bus stop of Trans Jogja. Then, you must reach to Malioboro halte (halte Malioboro). Ask to the operator if you still confused. Operator will glad to give information. 🙂
