ART RESPONSE (19-27 January 2019) – An Art Exhibition by Moch Basori

Art Response, as in fact as used as the title of this exhibition – is the creed believed by Moch Basori as a guide to work. He is a fundamental element of the discourse label that he uses to introduce all his artistic desires since the 1990s. As a conception or idea, Art Response underlies Moch Basori’s expressive attitude towards various forms and media.

From the beginning, as he admitted, he understood or realized that art has a vast and open space to be explored. This is a kind of restoring the instinct of consciousness in the most ancient culture – where we witness ancient human works as seen in Pont d’Arc Cave in the French Ardèche region (around 36 thousand years old). They respond to any space and media including cave walls, as well as totem traditions in America and the Asmat tribe, Papua which sculpt and paint wood in a context of certain values and morals in the frame of instinctive awareness of the metaphysical transcendence, which ethical and aesthetic.

Art Response is thus an open landscape for all possibilities to present ethical and aesthetic expressions through various materials or media. He also presents all possible uses for space needs. Both private and public. Art The response expressed as this idea is to answer all ethical and aesthetic desires through all existing shaped materials or available raw materials. All materials that are piled up or ’emblazoned’ are thus for Art The response has not yet been completed and it is appropriate to continue to undergo a process of artistic dialectics continuously as long as he is willing to do so.

In this exhibition we will find a variety of works with the most wasted materials even around us. Paper, photo albums, wood, iron, bottles, mannequins and so on. Moch Basori responds to the material and at the same time tries to turn it into a different character entity. As a work entity in the context of cultural values, Moch Basori’s works have an ethical function which is a manifestation of utilitarian intentions and aesthetics which is an expression and representation of his inner experience. Finally, because it has two basic elements of artistic value, Moch Basori’s Art Response works, I think canceling the accusation that the use of “certain” materials is only worth crafting. So roughly.
