hi. if we buy combo ticket which includes shuttle bus, is it possible for them to drop us at masjid an nurumi (we’ll walk to prambunan) and going home by same bus after sunset?

    thanks. x.

    1. kunzyogya Post author

      Hi,

I think it’s not possible for the shuttle bus to drop off you at An Nurumi mosque.
Because the location is out of the way Prambanan and Ratu Boko temple.

      You’re welcome.

      Hi,

You can buy Ratu Boko temple entry ticket by credit card.
But, your credit card must with ‘Visa’ or ‘Mastercard’ logo.
      Not ‘Maestro’ logo.

Hi, just wondering if we buy the combo ticket for Prambanan + Ratu Boko (US$25), do we still have to buy the sunset ticket to watch the sunset?

    1. kunzyogya Post author

      Hi,

It’s depend on the time that you arrive at Ratu Boko temple.
If you arrive before 3.00 pm, you can use Combo ticket.
If you arrive after 3.00 pm, you can not use Combo ticket.
You have to pay for sunset ticket at Ratu Boko temple.

    1. kunzyogya Post author

      Yup. It’s halal foods.
Unlike Bali, most of Yogyakarta people are moslem (islam people).
So, you don’t have to worry about that.

Do you know about shuttle bus between prambanan to Ratu boko?
What time is the last bus from Ratu boko to prambanan?
I’d like to see sunset, after sunset Can I get any transportation from Ratu boko to bus stop(trans Jogja)?

    1. kunzyogya Post author

Sure, i know everything about Yogyakarta. 😀
Shuttle bus from Prambanan to Ratu Boko is free if you buy the combine ticket.
The shuttle bus departing every 15 minutes.
The last departure is on 2:30 PM and it’s not applied for Ratu Boko sunset.
It means you have to walk to Trans Jogja bus stop (in front of Prambanan temple) after you watched Ratu Boko sunset.
Or you can hire a motorcycle taxi from Ratu Boko temple to Trans Jogja bus stop.

        1. kunzyogya Post author

After the Ratu Boko sunset it will be quiet.
So, i think there is no taxi or motorcycle taxi at Ratu Boko.
I think better you take a walk to Prambanan (Trans Jogja bus stop).

Exclude: Entrancee, meals, car parking fee.
You may copy the itinerary from the travelers from our schedule.

Hi, we are group of 9 and will be arriving at the Tugu Station at 3 pm. We plan to check in first at our hotel in Jalan Sartono and go to Prambanan and enjoy the Ratu Boko sunset afterwards. Do you think it is feasible with the time that we have? And we plan to only use public transport (since we will only rent car the next day), what the cheapest mode of transport we can take for these? Really appreciate your advise. Tq!

  7. YuHeng

Hi, I’ve read on your site the Sunset ticket is no longer available. If I intend to visit Prambanan and Ratu Boko in the afternoon, and Borobudur the next morning, what combination of tickets will give me the best experience / price? I have an international student card.
    Thanks!
    YH

    1. kunzyogya Post author

      Hi Yu Heng,

You can buy Borobudur regular ticket in the morning: USD 15 (= IDR 195K)
Then, buy Combine (Combo) ticket for Prambanan & Ratu Boko in the afternoon: USD 30 (= IDR 390K).
That’s the wise choice and the cheapest price for student.
Don’t forget to bring your student ID and show it at ticket window.
