DESCRIPTION:

Umar chusaeni as the founder of Limanjawi art house try to unify artists around Borobudur temple. Some painting exhibition become agenda of Limanjawi art house. Due to the activity, local artist want to show to the people around the world that the Borobudur temple and the local art can enjoyable. Artist around Borobudur still productive, innovative and creative to produce art stuff.

HOW TO GET TO LIMANJAWI ART HOUSE?

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
There is a cheap public transport to get there. Trans Jogja Bus. Ticket only IDR 4,000. First, you must go to halte bus/bus stop of Trans Jogja. Then, you must reach to Jombor Bus Station halte/shelter (halte Jombor), and then change bus to Borobudur and pay about IDR 30,000. From Borobudur bus station you can take a walk to the art house or take a taxi motorcycle.  Ask to the operator if you still confused. Operator will glad to give information. :-)

please take Route 3A – Stop in Condongcatur Shelter,
then please take Route 2A – Stop in Jombor Bus Station
please take a bus direct to Borobudur

BURNED PAINTINGS

WHAT IS IT?

DESCRIPTION:
Burned painting is a painting made using burning technique. This technique could be using burned cigarettes, incense or mosquito coil. Wawan Geni is the artist who found this technique. His name is written in Guiness book of record. He spend a lot of working time, cigarettes and match to make detail of his painting. The gradation of black and brown color shown in his painting. One painting could be done in one or three months depend on size and details. His painting always sold in fantastic price. Even it’s not finished yet, collector from all over the world already pay for it and waiting till it’s done.
