I liked some pieces of Affandi’s art, has similarities to Van Gogh, indeed. But most of all i enjoyed the works of his wife, daughters and grandson. Bright sharp compositions, pure colors… Recommend this place including because ot gives a bit different perspective on Javanese art, which is not only batik and folk dances 😉

I loved the place – was a good shelter during the rain as well 😉
I would recommend everyone to take the chance of being lead by a guide: It´s for free and you get to hear cool stories about this eccentric artist.
