DESCRIPTION:

In 1972, in the village of Pandean, the founder during elementary school, there were founded many wild luwak feces, which contained beans of coffee. The wild luwak ate the freshest and the ripest of the coffee cherries, and pass together the beans with the fruit into the stomach of the animal. In the stomach of wild luwaks, the beans were processed coincide with the enzymes of the animal, which add the aroma and flavor of the beans after digestion and being feces.

Since December 2013, Pawon Luwak Coffee has been visited by the domestic and foreign tourists. Until now (June 2014), Pawon Luwak Coffee has sold about 2000 packs of either powder or beans. And it is a fantastic achievement of Pawon Luwak Coffee which has been running for 7 months of home industry production.

HOW TO GET TO PAWON LUWAK COFFEE?

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
There is a cheap public transport to get there. Trans Jogja Bus. Ticket only IDR 4,000. First, you must go to halte bus/bus stop of Trans Jogja. Then, you must reach to Jombor Bus Station halte/shelter (halte Jombor), and then change bus to Borobudur and pay about IDR 30,000. From Borobudur bus station you can take a walk to the temple.  Ask to the operator if you still confused. Operator will glad to give information. :-)

please take Route 3A – Stop in Condongcatur Shelter,
then please take Route 2A – Stop in Jombor Bus Station
please take a bus direct to Borobudur
Then please take a walk or take motorcycle taxi direct to Pawon temple

please take Route 3A (at Malioboro Shelter) – Stop in Ngabean Shelter,
then please take Route 2B – Stop in Jombor Bus Station

*) These “Luwak” cat civet are not to produce Luwak coffee. The coffee beans taken from the wild cat civet’s shit at coffee plantation around Borobudur.

    This coffee is the most expensive of the world.., but in Magelang you can drink for 10k rupias for Robusta and for 20k Arabica.
    Strong and very taste coffee.
    Civet cat ( luwak) are very cute .
